Artist: LavaJewelry - View Collection Title: Labradorite Oxidized Sterling Earrings © 2010 Description: I made these earrings by wrapping marquise shaped labradorite briolettes in sterling silver wire, and dangling them from handmade sterling silver loops. The labradorite has a nice green/blue flash that looks best in sunlight. One of the briolettes has a flash that is slightly more yellow in color than the other. These earrings have uniquely shaped hand-forged sterling silver ear wires, and they measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in length from the tops of the ear wires. I oxidized and hand-polished the sterling silver to give it a nice patina.
